Dear partners, collaborators, and network,
The STEP-IN project has always put the safety and wellbeing of the public and its project members first. Therefore, because of the outbreak of COVID-19, it is with regret that we announce the suspension of all three Living Labs effective immediately and until May 1st, 2020. The living labs operate across Europe in Manchester (UK), Nyírbátor (Hungary), and Metsovo (Greece). The living labs will only re-open after this date if it is safe to do so. The decision to suspend was difficult, but we do not wish to put already vulnerable people at risk with the activities of STEP-IN.
We appreciate that the suspension of the living labs will be difficult for many people. Therefore, we are working hard to find alternative solutions. For example, providing energy advice remotely.
We will keep you regularly updated and provide further information in due course. Therefore, please check our website and social media feeds for more information. We are thinking of all of you during this difficult time.
