During the first days of the project, STEP-IN coordinator Rod McCall attended the Energy Poverty Contractors’ Meeting organised by EASME in Brussels on June 8, 2018.
According to the summary notes, “the meeting brought together representatives from 10 projects dealing with energy poverty from different perspectives”. The main objectives of the meeting were to “allow participants to exchange on issues in tackling energy poverty; enable policymakers to express expectations from energy poverty projects; and to enable projects to share knowledge and good practices and build synergies”.
After the meeting, Rod McCall explained that “it was a great opportunity to connect with some of the most important actors in the field of energy poverty and a very good start for STEP-IN”.
